Training intervention :
SAHARDA has emerged as a leading national training institution, imparting capacity building to over 2.6 lakh candidates through 8,507 training programs across 30 diverse disciplines. Its programs have empowered farmers, SHG women, PRI representatives, NABARD officials, Cooperative Bank personnel, DCCB Board Members and PACS functionaries across India.
In alignment with NABARD’s national mandate, SAHARDA has successfully conducted 488 specialized three-day DCCB–SHPI training and exposure programs, benefiting 8,332 Board Members of DCCBs from 236 District Central Cooperative Banks across major NABARD Regional Offices in India.
SAHARDA has also strengthened rural governance by training 828 PDs and BDOs of the Madhya Pradesh RDPR Department and over 175 newly recruited PDOs of Karnataka through intensive 12-week orientation programs. External impact studies have consistently appreciated the institution’s role in strengthening SHG promotion, especially the pioneering work of the Bidar DCC Bank.
Today, many DCCBs across the country follow the acclaimed Bidar Cooperative Model of SHGs, a system recognized for its efficiency, sustainability, and contribution to grassroots financial inclusion and poverty alleviation.
